Woman filed FIR against AAP MLA
NEW DELHI: The woman who had filed an FIR against AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan recorded her statement before a court on Sunday.
She also submitted a CD and a pen drive to the police with a recording of her conversation with the MLA, who is out on bail in another molestation case.
Sources said the woman reiterated allegations of sexual harassment and molestation against the MLA in her statement before the court. The woman said she was molested at least five times.
In her statement, the woman said that she has been staying in a rented accommodation in Shaheen Bagh for the past four months after a discord with her husband, who stays with his parents in Aligarh. She has also filed a divorce suit. She said she has been running a boutique to fund her daughter's education.
The woman said that Khan had approached her several times even in the presence of her husband. When she complained to her husband, he told her to do as Khan asked since he has been helping him in his businesses.
A few days ago, Khan came to her boutique and verbally abused her. He also threatened the two women employees and forced them to leave the job.
The woman claimed that she had recorded her conversation with the MLA and made copies of it on a pen drive. She also alleged she was being harassed at the boutique for the past four months.
She has also sought police protection as the MLA's men have been threatening her since Friday night, when she lodged the complaint at Jamia Nagar police station.
