Vinod Kambli praises Sachin son Arjun Tendulkar
Arjun Tendulkar made a good first impression on his India U-19 debut on Tuesday, claiming a wicket in his second over on Day 1 of the first youth Test against Sri Lanka U-19 in Colombo.
India U-19 bowlers Harish Tyagi and Ayush Badani took over from there, claiming four wickets each as Sri Lanka U-19 were all out for 244. India U-19 were 92/1 in reply.
India U-19 will play two 4-day youth Tests, which will be followed by five youth one-dayers.
Vinod Kambli, who is a close friend of his father Sachin Tendulkar, took to Twitter to praise the youngster on his debut wicket and wrote - “Tears of joy rolled down when I saw this, have seen him grow up and put in the hard work in his game. Could not be more happy for you, Arjun. This is just the beginning, I wish you tons and ton of success in the days to come. Cherish your first wicket and enjoy the moment.”
