Chennai, 11th March, 2015 : Teppan, the country’s first standalone Teppanyaki grill restaurant has kick started ‘Maki- Zushi festival’ at their restaurant on TTK Road which will run till the 29th March 2015.
The one-of-a-kind festival will showcase some of the best delicacies from the land of the rising sun. The stars of the culinary fest are a new range of authentic ‘‘Maki’ & Zushi which are presented in a style that make your appetising juices flowing. The festival will be a celebration of Teppan’s best Japanese fare, hosted by the seasoned Chef Leo.
Keeping in hue with the festivity, Teppan has introduced a variety of authentic Japanese dishes which can be relished by one and all thoroughly. The delicious menu showcases some of the most exquisite dishes like Kani Sake (Tempura fried crab stick tossed with spices, wrapped with sushi vinegared rice and sliced salmon), Kenko maki (Radish,carrot, avocado, cucumber, lettuce, rolled inside sushi vinegared rice, nori wrapped with spinach and carrots) etc.
They are also featuring a wide range of Temaki (Handmade cone shaped roll) in many stupendous forms like Karai inoku (Shiitake and button mushroom sautéed with spices, spring onion, hand rolled with sushi vinegared rice and nori), Karai shoyu maguro (Tuna seasoned with soy sauce, sesame oil, tongarashi, spring onion, hand rolled with sushi vinegared rice and nori) and many more.
