TNCC releases book on ADMK corruption
The Tamilnadu Congress Committee TNCC released a book on the alleged corruption by the State government headed by the AIADMK. TNCC president EVKS Elangovan said, the book consists of 25 corruption charges against the government.
"In the past four-and-a-half years, the government has taken action against only two charges of corruption one in the Muthukumarasamy murder, where former minister Agri Krishnamurthy was arrested, and then Coca-Cola land allocation case," said Elangovan.
He also said the party had submitted the report to Governor K Rosaiah seven months back but no action had been taken. "In the past few years, the media has refrained from writing against the government with the fear of defamations cases being charged against them. We appreciate the few media houses which expose these corruption cases," he said.
Talking about jallikattu, he said the party was not against the festival being conducted as the animals were not being harmed. He also also requested the government to do more for micro industries which have lost everything in the Chennai floods as no attention was being paid to them.
