CM opens buildings through video conference
Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has inaugurated a slew of buildings worth Rs 10.64 crore across the State through video conferencing at the Secretariat here recently.
According to an official release, she inaugurated district environmental engineer office and district environmental research office built a cost of Rs 1.24 crore at the Collectorate office complex of Dindigul.
She also opened various district environmental engineer offices and district environmental research offices in Collectorate complexes at Virudhunagar (Rs 1.61 crore), Namakkal (Rs 1.68 crore), Sivagangai (Rs 1.21 crore), Villupuram (Rs 1.55 crore), Thanjavur (Rs 1.49 crore), Pudukottai (Rs 1.85 crore).
These buildings include facilities like reception rooms, accounts and administration rooms, research labs, rooms for scientists and staffs, separate rooms for storing water, air and other resources. Apart from these, other vital facilities like ramps for differently- abled, drinking water and parking facilities would also be available.
Ministers M S M Anandan and Thoppu N D Venkatachalam, Chief Secretary K Gnanadesikan and higher officials were present while inagurating the Govt. buildings.
