Chennai, 19th October 2016: The Kitchen at The Raintree, Anna Salai will host a week-long food extravaganza bringing the best of street food to satiate one’s gustatory cravings from Kolkata, till 23rd October. From Chowringhee to Bara Bazaar, experience the authentic mouth watering delicacies from the ‘City of Joy’ like never before.
Chef Bhagabati Pal, a Bengali Master Chef of Aaheli will spearhead the festival with hot flavourful dishes from Kolkata in namma Chennai. Menu includes tantalizing delicacies like Hathi Baganer's kabiraji, Esplanade's mughlai paratha, Hazi Saheb's roll, Coffee House's fish cutlet, Chowringhir's telebhaja, etc.
Apart from authentic and sumptuous platter, have a bite of specially crafted signature food from across West Bengal, as the menu brings dishes from far of cuisines like Macher Paturi, Kochi pathar jhol, Chingrir malai curry, Shukto, mochar ghonto, etc. Other popular items on the elaborate menu will include chop moori, Kabiraji, Mughlai paratha, roll, Phuchka, fish cultlets, Chur mur, Singara, kochuri.
