Chennai Doctor Invited by Chinese Government “Acupuncture Exchange Program”
One of the pioneers of modern Acupuncture in India Prof. Dr. D. R. Rajesh Verma has been invited by Chinese government to share his knowledge with his Chinese counterparts in the Indo-Chinese exchange program from 16th December to 23rd December 2019. He is one of the elite seven acupuncturists who have been given this opportunity at an international forum to exchange knowledge.
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese way of treatment for many diseases using energy science. Superfine, virtually pain-free needles are inserted in different areas of body to cure many diseases ranging from lifestyle diseases such as hypertension to chronic disorders such as arthritis. Prof. Dr. D. R. Rajesh Verma started his Acupuncture practice over a couple of decades and is now considered authority on this subject. He has treated over 40,000 patients using this form of treatment. He has many national and international research papers to his name and is currently practicing at Bliss Medicare Centre and Suchi Ayurveda Centre, Chennai. . He is one of the Executive Committee Members of Acupuncture Association of India (AAI) who has hosted National and International symposiums.
Acupuncture is a bridge of friendship between India and China. This Exchange Program is an initiative taken by Chinese Consulate General by inviting the acupuncturist from India. Acupuncture Association of India (AAI) is looking forward to continue such exchange programs in the future.
