Pongal celebrated at Velammal
Velammal Main school, Mogapair campus celebrated Pongal festival on 13.01.2021 with great joy and enthusiasm in a grand manner. Teachers decorated the place and sought the blessings of Almighty. Sweet Pongal was prepared and distributed among teachers, students and other staff members. An earthen pot was placed on fire with traditional fanfare. The chanting of Pongalo pongal excited the staff members. Every moment was enriching for the people who were able to experience typical pongal celebrations. The Pongal festival is a true manifestation which exhibited our culture and tradition.
