It gives us great pleasure to share that *Laghu Udyog Bharati Core Team, once again had the opportunity to meet Hon'ble FM Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman*. We had an extremely fruitful, receptive and enthusiastic meeting with Hon'ble FM today at Hotel Taj Coromandel.

 

*Laghu Udyog Bharati Core Team profusely thanked Hon'ble FM for taking protective measures to implement most of our suggestions related to ECLGS Scheme and appreciated us, in particular, about the escalation by our team on the key issues blocking the Bankers from extending the 10% additional loans.*

 

*Hon'ble FM has waived off all blockage points pointed out by us and removed the RBI restructuring 2.0 Norms and extended the ECLGS 1.0 & 2.0 with the same conditions like earlier, much in lines with our representation.*

 

LUB Core Team also updated the *Micro Wing* developments and Hon'ble FM infact indicated that she has informed to her team that LUB have undertaken such humungous tasks. 

 

We also highlighted the *GST concern of 12% JobWork for Micro and Small Industries and requested Madam to bring it down to 5%.* We have been advised to come out with data to prove that there doesn't arise a scenario where in Govt ends up making a refund. We highlighted that such a situation will not arise, but we need to collect data from all Micro and Small Industries and take it once again to Hon'ble FM and convince Madam to support us which would be a major relief for Micro and Small Industries.

 

Finally LUB Core Team took up the plight of *MSME Vendors of BHEL*, for which she has assured to look into the same.

 

On the whole, *it is certainly yet another feather in LUB's CAP* for having got the opportunity to appraise and recommend suggestions to the *Country's Finance Minister* and we are sure that Hon'ble FM is bound to support Micro and Small Industries, provided the representations and backed with solid data, which is where we all need to gear up and work towards to.

 

*LUB Team was also delighted by the presence of First Time BJP MLA from Coimbatore - Smt. Vanathi Srinivasan,* who too appraised Hon'ble FM of the LUB TN rapid growth and developments. It was a pleasure to meet both of them.
