From Startups to Global Markets: Chhattisgarh’s New Flight

The Chhattisgarh Government has taken two important decisions for the state’s youth and business community. At the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the government approved the ₹500-crore ‘Chief Minister Startup and NIPUN Mission’ for the next five years, along with the ‘Chhattisgarh Export Promotion Policy 2026-30’.

The Startup Mission will directly benefit the state’s youth. Entrepreneurship Development Centres will be established in all 33 districts, along with 100 Emerging Technology Labs and 5 Industry Excellence Centres. These facilities will help young people develop their business ideas, learn new technologies and turn their ideas into viable businesses within their own districts. Through the NIPUN JOB Engine, youth will receive training based on industry requirements, creating better employment opportunities. The mission aims to help young people move beyond being job seekers and become entrepreneurs who create jobs for others.

The Export Promotion Policy will directly benefit farmers, producers, industries and businesses across the state. The policy will focus on taking value-added agricultural and industrial products to international markets. Through e-commerce platforms, trade fairs and exhibitions, businesses will get greater opportunities to connect with international buyers. This will open new markets for Chhattisgarh’s products and has the potential to increase production, income and employment opportunities.
