Tata International wins big southern region export awards held at the 35th India International Leather Fair 2020
Tata International, the global trading arm of the Tata group and one of India’s leading exporters of Leather and leather products, bagged major southern region export awards held at the India International Leather Fair on January 31st, 2020 in recognition of their contribution towards the sector and their excellent performance in the year 2019-2020. The award ceremony took place in Chennai in the presence of Chief Guest, Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, Hon’ble Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt of INDIA.
Mr. V Muthukumaran, Global Business Head of Leather Products was present at the award ceremony. Tata International won the 3rd Place in Overall Leather & Leather Products including Non-Leather Footwear category, which was received by Mr. Srinivasa Rao Aryasomayajula, Head - Finance & Accounts, Leather Products. Mr. S M Santhosh, Head, Quality Assurance, Leather Products received the award for winning the 2nd Place in Leather Footwear (Above Rs. 300 crore) and the award for winning the 1st Place in Finished Leather (Above Rs. 100 and Below Rs. 200 crore) was received by Mr. K Subbarao, Manager - R&D, Leather Products. Mr. V Sekar, Manager – Production, Leather Products, received the award for winning the 1st Place in Non-Leather Footwear (Upto Rs. 25 Crore) category.
