VELAMMAL STUDENTS SET AN IMPRESSIVE FEAT AT THE STATE LEVEL ATHLETIC MEET
A Team of Athletes of Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus participated in the State Level Athletic Meet-2022 (Boys and Girls) and clinched
6 Gold medals and a Silver medal held in District Sports Stadium, Thiruvarur, on 4th April 2022.
Master Prajin, Class 5 won the Gold medals in long jump and 60 mts,
Master Koushik, Class 6 won the Gold medal (200 mts),
Master Gishen, Class 8 bagged the Gold ( 1500 mts), Master Deepak Kannaa, Class 8- clinched the Gold ( 200 mts), Master Yuvaraj, Class 10 won the Gold (200 mts) and Master Dharshan, class-8 won Silver (1500 mts) for the track race in their respective age group category.
This state level event was organised by the Thiruvasaladi Pillaiyar Sri Maha Ganapati Arakatallai & Thiruvallur District Athletic Association, wherein participants from several districts across Tamilnadu participated.
The School Management accolades the Athletes for their spectacular feat.
