Priyanshu Painyuli shares why he is excited to be a part of Taapsee Pannu starrer Rashmi Rocket!

Bhavesh Joshi Superhero actor Priyanshu Painyuli is all set to play Taapsee Pannu’s husband in the upcoming sports drama ‘Rashmi Rocket’.

Priyanshu was supposed to do a movie before Rashmi Rocket was offered to him but it was called off. While talking about this he said, “I had blocked my dates for the film, but it didn't materialize. Luckily, Akarsh reached out to me with this role and I grabbed it". Director Akarsh and Priyanshu are friends since their theatre days and have collaborated in 2018 for High Jack.

Priyanshu further added, "My dad is a retired colonel and there was a time when I wanted to join the army before I got involved in dramatics and acting".

Priyanshu's character in the film supports his athlete-wife in her journey into sports. He will soon join the shoot in Kutch as the first schedule commences.
