I would like to be the leader of film industry: Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh had a dream 1 year at the box office starting from the release of Padmaavat. He delivered three back to blockbusters with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, Rohit Shetty’s Simmba and then Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy in a span of just 12 months and single-handedly delivered close to 800 crore net at the Indian box office. 

Hailed as a superstar currently, Ranveer is the heartthrob of the nation with audiences waiting to see what he would offer next on screen.

Ranveer says, “Simmba ka ek dialogue hai mein paison ka nai pyaar ka bhuka hoon. It is great because I am very happy for the producers of these films who have made

profit and put their faith in me and backed me. All of them are taking a chance. I am also very happy in my own small way to have been able to contribute to the film industry.”

He adds, “I love films and I love our industry. I would like to be the leader of the industry, A champion of the industry. I want Hindi cinema, Hindi films, the Hindi movie business to 

keep growing and becoming bigger and bigger. I want to be able to give back to the industry that is mera bhi. Industry mein Kaam ka hissa bankar mein bhi apna pet bhi palta hoon, mein bhi apni family ko sambhalta hoon aur yahi meri Rozi roti hai aur mere jitne bhi dost industry ka hissa hai we all are a fraternity and I would 

want us to flourish. So, if there is anything that I can contribute to the industry, to the Hindi cinema to become bigger and better that is a very rewarding thing for me.”
