Mumbai, 08 July 2026: Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited today announced a leadership transition in its Sales, Marketing and Digital function. Jan Bures, Executive Director - Sales, Marketing and Digital, Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, will complete his global assignment in India. While continuing with the Group, he will take on a new role at Volkswagen AG, effective September 2026. Škoda Auto Volkswagen India sincerely thanks Jan Bures for his contributions towards the Group’s growth in India and wishes him continued success in his new assignment at Volkswagen AG.
Following this transition, Piyush Arora, Managing Director & CEO, Škoda Auto Volkswagen India will assume the additional responsibility of Executive Director for Sales & Marketing for the Group in India. This enhanced leadership structure is aimed at strengthening strategic alignment, accelerating decision-making, and driving greater accountability across the organisation.
