Rotary District 3234 Empowers 100 Women Through Landmark Pink Autos Distribution Ceremony

In a powerful demonstration of service and social impact, Rotary District 3234, led by AKS Rtn. Vinod Saraogi, District Governor (2025–26), successfully hosted the Pink Autos Distribution Ceremony today at AM Jain College, Meenambakkam, at 12 pm. A total of 100 Pink Autos were distributed to women beneficiaries, marking a pivotal moment in Rotary’s mission to uplift communities through sustainable empowerment and inclusive development.
Pink Auto Project, provided 100 specially designed pink autos to women from underserved backgrounds, equipping them with the tools to earn a stable livelihood and reclaim economic independence. Each vehicle represents not just mobility, but a gateway to dignity, self-reliance, and hope for entire families.
AKS Rtn. Vinod Saraogi remarked, “This is more than a distribution—it’s a declaration. A declaration that when we invest in women, we invest in the future of our society.”
This landmark initiative was spearheaded by Rtn. Siva Ilangovan, Chairman – Pink Auto Project, whose vision and leadership were instrumental in bringing the program to life.
The event featured a ceremonial handover of keys, heartfelt testimonials from beneficiaries, and a vibrant display of community solidarity. Many of the recipients shared emotional stories of resilience, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to build a better future for themselves and their children.
The Pink Autos, now a recognizable symbol of empowerment, will soon be seen across Chennai, operated by women who are rewriting their narratives with pride and purpose.
The initiative aligns with Rotary’s 2025–26 theme, Unite for Good, and sets a precedent for future programs that blend compassion with action.
Rotary District 3234 extends heartfelt thanks to all volunteers, partners, and media representatives who helped amplify this message of transformation. The success of the Pink Auto Project stands as a testament to what can be achieved when service, vision, and community come together. Rotary 3234’s Pink Auto Project has been a grand success, and with this achievement, they plans to take up more such initiatives in the future to empower even more women and create lasting impact.
