“Air India Operates 30 West Asia Flights”
Air India and Air India Express will operate a total of 30 flights to and from West Asia today. These include both regular scheduled flights and special non-scheduled services. However, some routes are still limited due to operational challenges and the current regional situation.
Both airlines will continue their regular services to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. In total, 10 flights will connect different Indian cities with Jeddah, helping passengers travel for work, family visits, and other needs.
Air India will operate one return flight each from Delhi and Mumbai. Meanwhile, Air India Express will run flights from Bengaluru, Kozhikode, and Mangaluru, providing more options for travellers from different parts of the country.
In addition to Jeddah, Air India Express will operate four scheduled flights to and from Muscat in Oman. These flights will include services from Delhi and Mumbai, ensuring continued connectivity with Oman as well.
Airlines are constantly reviewing and adjusting their flight schedules based on passenger demand, safety considerations, and regional developments. Because of this, travellers are advised to check their flight status and updates before heading to the airport.
Despite some restrictions on certain routes, these operations are important for maintaining strong travel links between India and West Asia. Many people depend on these flights for jobs, business, and staying connected with their families abroad.
Officials say efforts are being made to gradually increase services as conditions improve. More flights may be added in the coming days if the situation becomes stable and demand continues to rise.
