WORKSHOP ON CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT HELD AT VELAMMAL
Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus organised a Workshop on Classroom Management by Ms. Meena Ram MA., M. Phil., B.ED. for the teachers of Classes 6 to 8 on 1st June, 2023 in the School Campus.
The workshop started auspiciously with a prayer, and the resource person pointed out the importance of organising and planning the classroom to cater the needs of every learner. Talking on the theme to her own experience in the field, she shared her views on teaching-learning process and key pointers on achieving a bond with the student.
Various tasks and activities were conducted to bring out the participants' ideas and creativity. An interactive session wherein the teachers actively participated and the suggestions provided by her were taken enthusiastically.
Takeaways of the session included an in-depth learning focused on the elements of classroom management challenges faced by teachers in a classroom and the strategies to overcome them for a better classroom environment.
