Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital kickstarts 18th Kalpavriksha CME to nurture next-gen eye specialists

Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital and Eye Research Centre Foundation today inaugurated the 18th edition of Kalpavriksha, their flagship national CME programme for postgraduate ophthalmology students. The two-day academic conclave will feature 30+ leading faculty and over 300 young doctors from across India, with intensive sessions designed as a crash course to build clinical and exam readiness.
Hon'ble Dr Ezhilan Naganathan, Member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, Government of Tamil Nadu inaugurated the CME, in the presence of Dr Ashvin Agarwal, Chief Clinical Officer, Dr Agarwals Group of Eye Hospital, and organising secretaries: Dr. Soundari. S, Dr. Dhivya Ashok Kumar, and Dr. Preethi Naveen from Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital.
The CME, designed as a crash course for postgraduates, covers a wide range of benefits including understanding of diagnostic procedures, coverage of all important exam-related topics, practical exam case presentations, and hands-on training through a wet lab. Sessions and hands-on workshops are conducted by distinguished faculty from premier institutions, covering key specialties such as Glaucoma, Retina, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Cornea, etc. Registered postgraduates present exam cases, and the best clinical case will be awarded Dr. (Mrs.) T. Agarwal Award for Best Case Presentation.
