To honor 142nd birthday of founder of Lions Club
> International Melvin Jones on Jan 13th, volunteers of United
> Samaritans Lions Club, organized 'Mega Hunger Relieving Program' in 9
> different locations to fulfil hunger of Mentally retarded childrens,
> Slum and Gypsy families, Differently abled people, Homeless people,
> Menial Staffs and needy hungry childrens. We worship the motto 'We
> Serve'. 'Feeding the Hunger' is the signature project of United
> Samaritans Lions Club led by our President Dr.Sheeba Lourdhes.
> Though our Club feed the hunger almost everyday, we arranged
> this even more grandly to honour 142nd birthday of Melvin Jones. More
> than 1200 needy people got benefitted out of this Program with budget
> over 95000 Indian Rupees. The proudful moment is our members residing
> outside India also served needy people at their respective locations,
> For example in Bangladesh.
