Director S Lavanya who has done all 31CRAFTS of filmmaking for the first time in the world history in PEI KOTTU feature film in Tamil Film industry and received 10 WORLD RECORDS from different countries.

It is a tradition in Film industry that 24 crafts have to team up and work together to make a film. For the first time, Guinness World Record holder S Lavanya has directed the (horror Comedy )PEI KOTTU, who is a self learner in all the 24 crafts of film industry.

Besides these, she done 7more departments including subtitles, censor script, 5.1 mix, sound engineering and has made the film single-handedly in 31departments of Film making.

Debutante Director S Lavanya has also played the heroine of the film in dual roles. Deepa Shankar, Sreeja Ravi, Shanthi Anandraj, Pattamama, Adam, Sasikumar, Ilumbu Selvam and others have acted in the film. S Lavanya and John Victor have jointly handled the cinematography for this film. S Lavanya has composed the music. She has also done the art direction and editing work. This movie which belongs to the horror thriller genre is produced by S Lavanya through the banner, OM SAI PRODUCTIONS.

The Trailer of the film was released recently and has set a record of over one and a half million views. The movie is expected to hit the screens.

Speaking about the film, the director said, “As an independent filmmaker, I wanted to learn all the tricks of the film industry including Production, Direction, Story, Screenplay, Dialogue, Music, Dubbing, Editing, Singing, Acting, Fight, Dance, Camera, Lyrics, Color Grading, EFX, VFX, SFX, Casting, Art, Makeup, I have learned all the 31 crafts of this profession, all by myself and made this horror movie called 'Pei Kottu' which refers to elders hitting our head using their knuckles when we make mistakes! Similarly if we sing a song , the ghost will hit us on the head. It has shaped up to be a different storyline and an interesting screenplay. '' she said.

Meanwhile, it is the first time in the world of Tamil cinema that an independent film artist has done all the 31 crafts of the film industry and made a full-length film as a single person, and such an effort has surprised the film industry, fans and viewers, and the support of the fans for the movie 'Pei Kottu' is seen as a record breaking effort by a woman named S Lavanya. It is also noteworthy that she has won more than ten World Records from different countries.
