45,000 ரூபாயில் எடுக்கப்பட்ட திரைப்படம் ' Surveillance Zone'..!
முழுக்க முழுக்க புதுமுகங்களைக் கொண்டு ரத்தினக் குமார் எனும் புதுமுக இயக்குனர் எழுதி, இயக்கி, ஒளிப்பதிவு மற்றும் எடிட்டிங் செய்து தயாரித்துள்ள திரைப்படம் "Surveillance Zone". இந்த திரைப்படம் 1 hour 40 mins நீளம் கொண்ட, ₹45,000 இல் எடுக்கப்பட்ட Independent தமிழ்ப் படம். இந்தப் படம் Canon 550D மற்றும் Gopro-வில் எடுக்கப்பத்தது.
தற்போது அகஸ்ட் 16ம் தேதி Toronto வில் நடந்த International Indian Film Festival இல் இப்படம் திரையிடப்பட்டது. இது வரை Italy, Berlin, Israel, Miami, Calcutta போன்ற ஊர்களில் நடத்தப்பட்ட சர்வ தேச திரைப்பட விழாக்களில் இந்த படம் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டு நல்ல வரவேற்புகளும் கிடைத்துள்ளது. டில்லி யில் நடத்தப்பட்ட Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival இல் விருதும் கிடைத்துள்ளது.
ஒரு கதையை CCTV Footage மூலம் சொன்னால் எப்படி இருக்குமோ அதே போல் தான் Surveillance Zone படமும் இருக்கும். படத்தில் இசை இல்லை. CCTVஇல் பதிவு செய்த ஆடியோ எப்படி கேட்குமோ அதே போல் தான் ஒலி அமைப்பும் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. சில இடங்களில் ஆடியோ இருக்காது.
ஒரு பரிசோதனை முயற்சியாக எடுக்கப்பட்ட இந்த படத்தில் இஃபால், குணா, ரகுராம் இரவிச்சந்திரன் ஆகியோர் சவுண்ட் டிசைன் செய்துள்ளனர்.

Famous Bollywood Actor Randeephooda's BeebaBoys Movie premiered in International Indian Film Festival Toronto on October 2015 directed by Deepa Mehta oscar nominated screen writer and director.
AR Rahman & Raju Mahalingam are in the IIFFT Advisory committee lists.

Surveillance zone is a suspense thriller about 40yrs old police man Rangasamy father of young daughter Thulasi, as his only company. He has been assigned for surveillance monitoring for few weeks, reporting Assistant Commissioner Baskar. Assistant commissioner Baskar claims Rangaswamy that her daughter was missing and in need of unofficial help. The whole movie revolves only with the CCTV footages / Camera. Rangaswamy tracing out all the CCTV footages for any possible clues to her whereabouts. Rangasamy’s life was shattered in one night by losing his daughter in an accident. His investigation remove the knots of all twists and suspenses of this case. The budget of the movie is ₹45,000. The whole movie was shot on Canon 550D & Gopro.
