Monster Hunter – Movie Review

The latest Milla Jovovich starrer is a video-game adaptation, Monster Hunter. The movie’s premise is set in an alternate world filled with monsters and how the lead Jovovich ends up in this alternate world from ours and helps Tony Jaa hunt monsters and escape back to our world. The movie is a mindless adaptation of the video game but it certainly isn’t boring. Milla Jovovich and Jony Jaa packs in a lot of action in this monster movie. The movie is filled with CGI heavy monsters which could give a few sleepless nights to the younger ones and weak hearted. The movie could have been written better for a stronger script because the story is pretty weak. The star couple, director Paul W.S. Anderson and lead Milla Jovovich join hands after the Resident Evil. The movie is a mindless yet action packed popcorn entertainer. The entire movie plot is more of a one level video game mission, Jovovich and Jaa on a quest to the Sky Tower, battling monsters on the way while training before the mission starts with Ron Perlman cameo at the end of the mission!

Overall the movie is an enjoyable action flick and more awaited in the coming years....
