Two Children Killed in Navalur Cylinder Blast
A tragic accident took place on Sunday morning in Navalur when a powerful gas cylinder blast destroyed a house and left several people injured. The explosion killed two children and injured seven others. The force of the blast caused the building, where three families were living, to collapse.
According to officials, the incident happened at around 7.30 a.m. A man named Vairamuthu tried to light the stove in the kitchen. However, there was already a gas leak inside the room. As soon as the stove was lit, the leaked gas caught fire and triggered a massive explosion.

The explosion was so strong that the structure could not withstand the impact and collapsed.
Residents nearby heard a loud noise and rushed to the spot. Many people helped rescue those trapped under the debris before emergency teams arrived. Police, fire and rescue personnel later reached the area and continued the rescue work.
