Creating a Mundukalam with nearly 3,000 dhotis allowed us to bring together the spirit of Onam and the legacy of the dhoti in one celebration. We are proud that this initiative has found recognition in the Asia Book of Records, but more importantly, we are happy to have created a moment that celebrates our traditions in a way that feels fresh and relevant.”
