Ranked among the world's Top 100 universities in the QS World University Rankings 2027, the University of Western Australia is bringing its globally recognised Australian education to Chennai through a 70,000 sq. ft. campus set to commence in October 2026. As the only international university making a landmark investment in establishing a campus in India, UWA's commitment reflects its long-term confidence in India's higher education ecosystem and its future talent. The Chennai campus will also be the first international university campus to be established in Tamil Nadu under the University Grants Commission (UGC) Regulations, 2023.
