ITM Vocational University, Vadodara, has announced the launch of two innovative undergraduate programs aimed at transforming financial education and equipping students with industry-relevant skills in banking and finance. The newly introduced BBA (Banking and Finance) program is a three-year course designed to provide students with a solid foundation in financial services, banking operations, and emerging fintech trends. The program also offers the flexibility to extend into a four-year BBA (Honours) degree, which includes a six-month internship and a global immersion component, ensuring exposure to international financial practices. With a minimum eligibility of 45% marks in both 10th and 12th examinations, the course is accessible to a wide pool of aspiring students. A key highlight of the program is its job guarantee, supported by partnerships with leading banks, alongside hands-on internships and specialized fintech training that prepare students for the evolving financial landscape.
In addition, the university has launched a B.Com (Trading & Financial Markets) program, a three-year course tailored for students interested in capital markets and investment strategies, and can also offer the flexibility to extend into a four-year B.Com (Honours) degree. This program stands out for its practical approach, enabling students to actively engage in live trading, market analysis, and real-time financial decision-making. With the same eligibility criteria of 45% marks in 10th and 12th, the course opens doors for students to transform their interest in stock markets into a professional career. The curriculum is designed to provide deep specialization in trading, investments, and financial markets, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.
