Ishika Shri Mahalakshmi Bharat Abhiyaan Launched in Delhi with Collective Blessings of Sanatan Gurus
The launch of Ishika Shri Mahalakshmi Bharat Abhiyaan was widely described as the beginning of a new era, as Ishika Shri Mahalakshmi formally initiated a nationwide movement rooted in spiritual consciousness, cultural confidence and social resurgence. Formerly known as Ishika Taneja, an actor, Guinness World Record holder and Sita Maya associated with Yogi Adityanath, she has now turned into Ishika Shri Mahalakshmi, and her transformation and leadership of the Abhiyaan marked a landmark moment in contemporary spiritual and social discourse. The gathering witnessed the presence and blessings of eminent saints, thought leaders and representatives from across Bharat.
During the event, Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj lauded the scale, vision and execution of the Abhiyaan, appreciating the devotion and discipline with which such a vast initiative had been conceived and brought together. He blessed Ishika Shri Mahalakshmi for accepting a significant responsibility at a young age and described the initiative as both timely and necessary for society today.
Highlighting the importance of youth-led leadership, Shri Govind Giri Ji Maharaj said, “Leaders like Ishika Shri Mahalakshmi represent a rare blend of spiritual grounding and modern leadership. Such initiatives inspire society to reconnect with values while engaging confidently with the present and the future.”
Reflecting on Ishika’s personal journey, Acharya Balkrishna Ji of Patanjali observed, “The transformation of Ishika Taneja into Ishika Shri Mahalakshmi is the result of years of discipline, effort and unwavering commitment. This Abhiyaan is strengthened by the collective guidance and blessings of saints and gurus, making it a shared spiritual movement rather than an individual endeavour. Such examples deeply inspire the youth.”
Addressing the gathering, Ishika Shri Mahalakshmi spoke about the deeper spiritual and economic symbolism of the moment, referring to the sacred timing of Magh Purnima. “When a nation aligns itself with dharma, inner abundance and self-belief, prosperity follows naturally. Spiritual awakening strengthens indigenous systems, builds confidence in our own economy and gradually reduces external dependence, leading to long-term stability and growth,” she said.
Emphasising the broader societal relevance of the initiative, Shri Alok Kumar Ji of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) added, “Movements like the Ishika Shri Mahalakshmi Bharat Abhiyaan are vital in today’s times. Such leadership plays a crucial role in awakening societal consciousness and strengthening national unity through cultural and spiritual values.”
Participants from various organisations, including VHP, RSS and other civil society groups, described the Abhiyaan as more than a single event. They viewed it as a collective resolve bringing together saints, youth and society at large, signalling a decisive shift towards spiritual prosperity, cultural confidence and renewed national purpose.
Looking ahead, pilot programmes under the Ishika Shri Mahalakshmi Bharat Abhiyaan will roll out between February and April 2026 across eight states, marking the first phase of its nationwide implementation.
