Hyatt Regency Chennai brings together jazz performances, Oktoberfest-inspired flavours and the J4JAZZ Weekender for a vibrant ten-day celebration
Ten days of Jazz, culinary indulgence and celebratory spirit came alive at Hyatt Regency Chennai as Jazztober Fest 2026 brought together music lovers and food enthusiasts from September 18th – 27th. Blending the soulful sounds of Jazz with Oktoberfest-inspired food and beverage experiences, the festival transformed the hotel into a lively destination for music, dining and late-night celebrations.
The festival opened on September 18th with an electro-jazz performance by Rajni Shivaram & Eric Gerald, setting the tone for a diverse musical line-up. Adding a festive culinary dimension, the celebrations from September 21st- 24th featured German-inspired platters, beer pairings and special bar experiences. Guests enjoyed complimentary bar munchies including caramelized beer nuts, spiced pretzels and fried olives with garlic dip, alongside specially curated sharing platters. The vegetarian selection featured Sticky Vegan Ribs, Mushroom Forestier Pie, Cajun-Rubbed Vegetable Brochettes, Flammkuchen, roasted potatoes, a German soft pretzel and sauerkraut, while the Bavarian Sausage Board brought together chicken and pork sausages, beer-glazed chicken wings and classic mustard accompaniments.
The festival reached its finale with the J4JAZZ Weekender, held at The Lobby Lounge from September 25th – 27th. The three-day musical celebration featured Around the World, Radha Thomas Quartet, Shanks & Lauren, Inga, Purple Mints and Skip, followed by after-parties at 365 A.S.
