HCL Group Brings Anirudh Ravichander to Chennai for a Grand Employee Concert Celebrating its 50th Anniversary
As part of its year-long celebrations marking 50 years of its founding, HCL Group organised a spectacular employee concert featuring renowned music composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. The event brought together over 20,000 employees of HCL Group and Shiv Nadar Foundation based in Chennai and neighbouring locations for an evening of music, celebration and camaraderie, honouring the people who have been at the heart of HCL Group’s five-decade journey.
Anirudh Ravichander enthralled the audience with a high-energy performance featuring some of his biggest chartbusters, including Why This Kolaveri Di, Vaathi Coming, Hukum and Chaleya from the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan, among many others. Employees sang along and danced throughout the evening, transforming the stadium into a vibrant celebration of HCL Group’s golden jubilee.
Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson, HCL Group and HCLTech; C Vijayakumar, CEO & Managing Director, HCLTech; Shikhar Malhotra, CEO & Vice Chairman of HCL Healthcare, Trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation, Chairman of Shiv Nadar School & The Knowledge Habitat Schools, and Chancellor of Shiv Nadar University; R. Srinivasan, Chancellor, Shiv Nadar University Chennai; were also present at the event.
The Chennai concert follows successful employee celebrations held earlier in Noida and Lucknow and is part of a special concert series curated by HCL Group to celebrate this landmark milestone. To ensure a safe and seamless experience, complimentary metro travel for extended hours was arranged for all employees, along with free cab services for women employees.
