Directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya, Agni Devi, a 2019 political thriller, boasts of a compelling star cast, featuring renowned actors like Bobby Simha, Madhoo and Ramya Nambeesan in the lead roles. The movie revolves around a dutiful cop (played by Bobbi Simha) who is investigating the brutal murder of a journalist. The story soon escalates as his investigation brings a corrupted politician into the narrative. How the cop overcomes the obstacles and catches the criminal forms the rest of the story, making it a perfect entertainer for a lazy afternoon.
On the other hand, En Rasavin Manasile, a 1991 classic romantic drama, is an engaging tale directed by renowned director of Tamil cinema, Kasthuri Raja.
