Mr. P. Moorthy, Minister for Commercial Taxes and Registration, Government of Tamil Nadu, inaugurated the oxygen-generating plant donated by Walmart and the Walmart Foundation to Doctors For You at the Thirumangalam General Hospital in Madurai today. Walmart, the Walmart Foundation and Flipkart have donated critical medical supplies to support COVID-19 relief efforts in the state and across India with NGO partners including 5 cryogenic liquid cylinders and 89 oxygen cylinders delivered to healthcare institutions in Chennai through the International Medical Corps and Doctors For You, and in Madurai, Erode, and Kallakkurichi through Americares.
