KLH Bachupally Ignites Student Innovation at Internal Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025

KLH Bachupally Campus, through its Entrepreneurship and Development Cell (EDC), successfully organized the Internal Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025The 24-hour hackathon served as a dynamic platform for students to ideate, collaborate, and innovate, while sharpening their entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving skills.
A total of 612 enthusiastic young entrepreneurial participants — including 275 girls and 337 boys — took part in the innovation marathon, developing creative solutions in areas such as Smart Automation, Meditech, Green Technology, Blockchain, and Smart Education. Students from B.Tech, BCA, and MCA programs worked on real-world challenges across diverse themes, including Robotics, Agriculture, Tourism, and Space Technology. Each team comprised six members, with the mandatory inclusion of at least one female participant, ensuring inclusivity and diverse representation.
The competition unfolded in three rigorous phases—idea presentation, concept refinement, and prototype development—all within an intense 24-hour timeframe. Final prototypes were evaluated by a distinguished panel of professors and industry experts, who praised the students’ creativity, teamwork, and technical excellence. Several solutions stood out for their strong potential for real-world application.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. L. Koteswara Rao and coordinated by the EDC faculty team, supported by dedicated student volunteers who ensured seamless execution.
Speaking about the initiative, the EDC team remarked, “Programs like SIH empower students to prepare for the future by fostering creativity, critical thinking, and innovation-driven problem-solving.”
The hackathon concluded on a celebratory note, with the winning teams will represent KLH Bachupally at the national level of SIH 2025, where they will showcase their groundbreaking solutions on a larger stage.
