IPEMA–Poultry India Showcases Strong Presence at NOVACON 2026 & 12th Kolkata International Poultry Fair
IPEMA–Poultry India marked a significant presence at NOVACON 2026 – Conference on Innovation in Poultry, held alongside the 12th Kolkata International Poultry Fair (KIPF) 2026 from February 10 to 13, 2026.
The IPEMA delegation was led by its President, Mr. Uday Singh Bayas, reaffirming the association’s commitment to strengthening industry collaboration across India, particularly in the Eastern region.
Insightful Deliberations at NOVACON 2026
The interactive seminar held on February 10 featured internationally reputed speakers who shared insights on cutting-edge technologies, innovation-driven practices, biosecurity, sustainability, and forward-looking growth strategies. The conference emphasized resilience and sustainable expansion within the Indian poultry sector.
IPEMA–Poultry India’s participation highlighted its proactive role in promoting knowledge exchange, technological advancement, and industry integration aligned with the evolving needs of the poultry industry.
The Hon’ble Minister for Animal Resources Development, Government of West Bengal, Mr. Sapan Debnath, inaugurated the 12th Kolkata International Poultry Fair by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
The event was organized by the West Bengal Poultry Federation (WBPF) in association with the Animal Resources Development Department, Government of West Bengal, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders on a common platform.
IPEMA–Poultry India set up an exclusive pavilion representing all member companies, serving as a key networking hub for the Eastern India poultry sector.
The IPEMA stall was formally inaugurated in the presence of industry leaders including Mr. Madan Mohan Maity (General Secretary, WBPF), Mr. Sameer Agarwal (MD, Shalimar Hatcheries Limited), Mr. Ranpal Danda (President, Poultry Federation of India), Dr. Jitendra Verma (President, WVPA – India Chapter), Mr. Vasant Kumar Shetty (President, PIBBA), Mr. Santosh Ire (Secretary, VIP), and Mr. Sanjeev Gupta, Vice President (PFI).
A total of 12 IPEMA member companies showcased their advanced technologies through individual stalls, while two members participated under the IPEMA pavilion, reinforcing collective industry representation.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Uday Singh Bayas thanked the dignitaries, especially Hon’ble Minister Sapan Debnath, and acknowledged the efforts of Mr. Madan Mohan Maity in strengthening Poultry India’s presence in Eastern India. He emphasized deeper collaboration, innovation, and unified growth strategies for the sector.
He also invited stakeholders to participate in the 18th edition of Poultry India Expo 2026, scheduled from November 25–27, 2026, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad.
