Teppan hosts the ?Flamin? Tabemono?
Teppan Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar will be hosting the “Flamin’ Tabemono” festival for the first time at its restaurant in TTK Road till 16th March 2014. “Tabemono” means “food” in Japanese is a unique concept with flaming marinated meats and seafood which is not only appetizing but also a treat to the eyes. Expat Chef Cecilio has flown down exclusively to anchor the festival. The festival menu will feature a specially crafted menu that involves the innovative concept.
The Flamin’ Tabemono festival starters menu includes Yasai roru which is Asparagus and tofu stuffed inside blanched carrot and sautéed with teriyaki sauce, Sakana Furai, Crumbed salmon, white fish and mushroom stuffed with sautéed vegetables skewered, fried and served with tongatsu mayo.
The main course menu includes Australian Sea bass is Australian Sea bass marinated with chopped garlic, lemon juice, olive oil seasoned with rock salt, black pepper grilled in Teppan, flambéed and served, Chicken leg meat, Chicken leg meat marinated with Oregano, tongarashi Olive oil, and seasoned with salt, pepper grilled in Teppan flambéed and served, Kinoku zucchini Teppan which is an Assorted mushrooms grilled with pepper sauce flambéed and served on bed of zucchini.
The desserts include Tempura Ice cream, Flavored mochi cake with choice of ice cream. The festival also offers a selection of Sushi. The menu includes Ebi tempura Nigiri which is Tempura batter fried shrimp topped on a mould of rice and served with wasabi, soy and Pickled ginger, Satsumaimo furanbe maki, Tempura fried sweet potato rolled outside and topped with avocado and serve and more.
