Our long term vision is to turn the Demo Day into a celebration of entrepreneurship. Keeping with the theme of growth, we plan to take the Demo Day to 20 cities and 3 countries in 2017. We are going to focus on 5 different tracks, that will focus on innovation and themes that are going to be strong in the coming years. We also wish to focus on the angel funded startups that are looking at raising their next round of funding. We want to build stronger bridges across continents and make it possible for our members to leverage the same; whether that is startup from Paris looking to explore the Indian market or seek an Indian mentor/investor OR a startup from India looking to venture overseas.”
The Demo Day last year was won by EventsHigh which is a event discovery platform. They have since raised money from a group of investors including Kris Gopalakrishnan.
