Rotary Club of Chennai coastal installed Rtn.Darampal R. Pandia
Rtn.Darampal R. Pandia installed as 12th President of Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal and Krithika Ajay Nair as it's Secretary recently.
The chief guest for the installation ceremony was Dist Governor Rtn. Babu Peram along with his Secretary Jsk Naidu and Assitant Governor Avs Rao and Rotarians and Anns.
Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal is chartered in 2007 and one of the elite club in the city and have members ofbusiness and Professional Communities besides many industrialists.
The day saw outgoing President Rtn.Anand Ys handing over the mandel to his club’s new PresidentRtn.Darampal R. Pandia and Krithika Ajay Nair as it's Secretary.
Rtn.Darampal R. Pandia, 12th President thanked the Past president and planned his projects for the year and also promised to support Rotary Foundation and to do continious project for the coming year.
Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal have been doing lot of Social services in all avenues of Community service health and
developement , Vocational , Youth services etc. They are now setting up a dialysis centre in the city along with the Gurudwara situated at G.N.Chetty Road, in T.nagar with the assistance of the Tanker foundation at the cost of 90,000 usd.
As part of community services, They also have their signature Mega health camp at Gurudwara, every year and many mega health camps at corp[oration schools, colleges etc.,
According to the incoming President, Rtn. Darampal R. Pandia this year they are planning to have mega health camps in slums in Chennai
and industrial places. Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal is also planning water pots to be kept in different places in city for the birds and the passers by and a water wheel project too they are planning to launch for the needy people in outskirts of city.
Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal are also planning for adoption of villages in all nearby areas of the city as part of communty development works for setting up new bathroom, giving them educational support health camps at those places etc. The idea is to reach maximum people and giving their services.
