Mullaivendhan Joined DMDK with 6,000 supporters
Former Minister V. Mullaivendhan expelled from the DMK party in July - 2014 for his anti-party activities. Now he joined the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) in the presence of its leader Vijayakanth.
He along with more than 6,000 supporters joined the DMDK. He said DMK leader M.K. Stalin had no eligibility other than being son of party president M. Karunanidhi.
Mr. Mullaivendhan was elected to the Assembly from the Morappur constituency in 1989, 1996 and in 2006. Mullaivendhan expressed his willingness to work for with DMDK party. Later DMDK party leader Mr. Vijayakanth said MLAs were not allowed to speak in the Assembly and that a change was inevitable in the coming elections.
