KRISHNAGIRI: A 25-year-old man was burnt alive when a two-wheeler he was riding on caught fire after ramming a bus near Hosur in Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu on Monday.

Police said the identity of the deceased was not known. "The two-wheeler and all the identity cards of the rider destroyed in the fire," police said.

The man was going towards Bengaluru on his two-wheeler when the accident happened. When he neared Attibelle on the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka boarder, the man lost control of the two-wheeler.

The two-wheeler rammed a bus that was coming from the opposite direction. He fell on the road along with the two-wheeler. The two-wheeler caught fire, and the fire spread as there was a petrol leak.

The man, who was lying on the road, was burnt alive, police said.
