Fisherman?s son clears Chartered Accountancy
THOOTHUKUDI: A 24-year-old graduate of Siluvaipatti, a coastal hamlet in Thoothukudi district, T. Anbarasu, has hogged the limelight by clearing the Chartered Accountancy (CA) final examinations, the results of which were announced recently.
Feeling so happy and proud to become a Chartered Accountant, the boy hailing from the fishing community thanked his parents for their support and expressed his gratitude to the faculty of accounts, M. Masillamani Ravi, for his guidance.
Until completion of higher secondary education, Tamil was his medium of instruction in schools.
Thereafter, he pursued CA and simultaneously completed his graduation through distance education at Madras University, he said here on Wednesday.
He said that the CA final examination was universally recognised as one of the toughest professional examinations.
The examinations were divided into three levels — Common Proficiency Test (CPT), Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) and the final examination.
