Anise at Taj Coromandel launches its new menu
Round sandwiches and square burgers… Sounds quirky? Anise, the contemporary all-day dining restaurant at Taj Coromandel has reinvented its menu to provide guests a refreshing new dining experience! The innovation presents a delectable spread of vibrant flavours, burst of colours and renewed presentation of the most-loved food from across the Taj Hotels and world.
While all-time favourites like Gosht Gilli biryani firmly cement their place on the menu, Anise offers a special gluten-free selection like Melon and Feta Salad, Tofu, Pakchoy, Glass Noodles and Kafir Lime Broth, Fussili Pommodori Basilico (with gluten-free pasta), Wild Berry Baked Yoghurt and more (further altered for celiac guests).
The drama of street food including Asian Spiced Chicken burgers, Thai curries, Bombay Masala Toastie, Kothu Parotta, compliment the comfort of steaming hot dabra of coffee ‘by the metre’ or a glass of village tea. The European fare boasts of exotic truffle flavours, Ratatouille stuffed Spinach Crepes, Pan Seared Norwegian Sea Bass and succulent Grilled Angus Tenderloin, while the Asian delicacies include Mirin Marinated Chicken Katsu, Pan Fried Tofu, Crisp Noodle Cake.
The dining experience is heightened by the newly-launched Tiffin – a custom-designed carrier comprising the day’s specialty of two veg preparations (one lamb or chicken for those option for the non-veg Tiffin), dal, pulao, Indian breads and of course, dessert. Not leaving our little guests out, the new menu at Anise also offer a special section of enticing treats like Crisp Fish Goujons, Crunchy Chicken Mini Burger and Fruit and Chocolate Pizza.
