A Memorandum with request to reconsider Central Govt's decision of Vellalar name allocation to other community was handed over by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh to Hon’ble Union Home Minister Thiru. Amit Shah at Chennai yesterday.
Vellalar community represents 42 castes including Mudaliyar, Pillai, Gounders and Chettiars.
