Update, Adapt and Innovate – The Magic Mantra
“Innovate and share the limelight with successful people” says the Chief Guest Mr. Sathappan Narayanan, Managing Director, Accenture, in his Convocation Day address during the 15th Graduation Day in SRM Valliammai Engineering College on 6th July 2019.
The Chief Guest in his address appreciated all the graduands of the day and emphasized the importance of being successful in one’s career. The young engineers were encouraged to innovate and transform their innovations into real time achievement. To be successful, one must have a wider exposure to the latest technology and should strive for their betterment. He urged fresh graduates of today to identify their specific interests,develop their inquisitiveness and subsequently infuse adaptability into themselves. This would surely stimulate their minds to update themselves with the recent trends that keep surfacing in the modern world. The Chief Guest persuaded the future technologistto confront difficulties and complexities confidently and venture to encounter risks with determination and prudence. They were advised not to be perturbed by early failure as failing early will surely help them cross hurdles later on in life and achieve successful outcomes.
The Graduation Day which was organized with exuberance and grandeur was indeed a proud moment for all the 829 graduands, 13 Anna University Rank holders, their parents, the Staff and the Management.
After the formal academic procession, the Graduation Day ceremony was declared open by Dr. Sandeep Sancheti, Vice Chancellor, SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
Dr. T.P. Ganesan, Director, SRMVEC & Pro Vice Chancellor Planning and Development SRM Institute of Science and Technology welcomed the august gathering. The graduation day report was presented by the Principal, Dr. B. Chidhambararajan. The report comprised of the proud accomplishments and accolades received by the college, the students and the Staff members.
As the curtains came down, the stakeholders including the Management, the Staff, the students and their parents were filled with pride and accomplishments and looked on to more laurels comingtheir way.
