Superstar Rajinikanth starrer "Kabali" hits the screens on July 22nd worldwide, I'd definitely say this is Superstar's best performance in over 2 decades. On that note being completely satisfied with Thalaivar on screen, Ranjith should have definitely put in more for this film. Story being weak is major setback for the film.

Such a powerful character, Kabali played by possibly the Best Hero to play such a powerful role and yet the movie isn't all that powerful. The film starts off brilliantly and then slows down and sets into a slow paced screenplay till the climax. With very few terrific sequences in the movie to match Thalaivar's style, swag and action, people expected more out of the film.

Radhika Apte and Sai Dhansika have given great performances in the film and stand out in the film after Thalaivar. The rest of the cast are ok. Villain was really weak. With Thalaivar as Hero, we would expect someone more powerful.

Brilliant Visuals by Murali in showcasing Malaysia is a huge plus.

Santhosh Narayanan BGM is standout in the film. Loved the retro 80s style theme and Neruppu Da Whistle Theme. Loved the Tarantino style, Noir themed BGM.

Didn't go to the movie with much expectations so no disappointment on that front but expected a more powerful film with Thalaivar giving his best performance in a long time.
