Brindavana is a treat all the way. Every dialogue, every dance step, every punch and even a smile of Darshan on the screen set his fans cheering on Thursday when the film released across Karnataka. From the word go, the film celebrates Darshan. Krishna, who is the pampered son of multi-millionaire parents (Sharath Babu and Geetha), is full of family affection.

He's such a good Samaritan that he always helps the love birds triumph over the complications caused by others and unites them. Meanwhile, he is also seen romancing Madhu (Milana Nagaraj). The complications start when Madhu's friend, Bhoomi (Karthika Nair), enters the story. Bhoomi has faked a love affair at home in order to avoid getting married to her cousin Ajay.

Madhu asks Krishna to help her friend Bhoomi by pretending to be her boyfriend. Krishna agrees to help but is not aware of the problems he's going to face when he reaches Bhoomi's village. What happens when he reaches the village and how he faces the emotional turmoil and unites the rival brothers and everyone there forms the rest of the story.

The film has a long line of popular character artistes like Doddanna, Sadhu Kokila, Sai Kumar, Sampath, Sharat Babu, Geetha, Nirosha and others that make Brindavna look like an all-star cast. Everything else about the film is also grand. From the sets to the locations to the fights and dialogues, grandeur is the name of the game.

The film is a bit too long for Kannada audience at three-hours. But there are few things that could have been actually avoided on the editing table. For fans, it is a different matter. They will be happy to have a film where they can watch Darshan for a longer time on screen. The film is likely to join the ranks of Sarathi, Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna and Bulbul as a big hit in the career of Darshan.

V Harikrishna's music, Ramesh Babu's cinematography have been ably utilised by K Madesh. Doddanna is at his best but the services of Nirosha, Sharat Babu and Geetha are under utilized.
